Cannot love this place enough. Food, phenomenal. Customer service, on point. I've thought of opening a bookstore and having their pastries served but the economy sucks. Can't say enough good things about The Bakers Bench though.

It's probably a good thing for my waist line that I didn't find out about Baker's Bench sooner: their baked goods are to die for! They sell a variety of pastries, including almond and chocolate croissants, cheese and fruit Danishes, cinnamon buns (made with their croissant dough), and their famous creme horns. Their other pastries are good (especially that croissant filled with almond paste), but the creme horn is excellent and the BEST creme horn I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and get several of these creme horns, because they are even good the next day! Parking is tricky, so be patient and try to go at an odd time. They don't seem to have a website or social media presence, but as of May 26, 2023 they are open Tues - Sat, 7 - 2 or 3 pm. Update August 2024: These continue to be the BEST pastries. They have forever ruined other creme horns, because their creme horns made from that delicate and delicious croissant dough is absolutely perfect. Our dog was even jealous of the creme horns! We also tried their jumbo cupcakes and they are delicious! In particular, the carrot cake cupcake and the chocolate-peanut butter cupcake were excellent. They are truly jumbo, so be prepared to share, be really full, or save half for a later treat!

When I want amazing pastries this is where I go. The croissants are melt in your mouth buttery and we loved both the Savory ham and cheese and the chocolate is the best around. We always add a few raspberry and cheese along with some Farmers bread and whatever other pastry it's us that day. Strongly recommend

Finally made it to Baker’s Bench! Had a BLT and got my husband the Pastramisandwich. Both delicious. Brought home an eclair and a Bismarck. The Bismarck was especially outstanding.

I mean I don't know where to start, i usually don't leave reviews unless a place is amazing and this place was more than that I walked in this morning just asked what the best thing is and I was directed taword either cinnamon rolls or cream horns I went with the cinnamon roll which wasn't badly priced for the size and honestly one of the best I've ever had the people that work there are really nice and if your in the Westbrook area it's worth a stop.

I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant and it was delicious! The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery, and the bacon was cooked just right with a great balance of egg and cheese. It was fresh, filling, and exactly what I was craving for breakfast. Quick service and cozy bakery vibes, definitely a spot I’ll be going back to for more breakfast sandwiches and treats.
